BMK MOVES TO WAKHANDA

Just over 10 months ago, smack in the middle of a global pandemic, Bhut’ Madlisa’s Kitchen (BMK) was created to ‘bring the taste of home and the feeling of being loved again’ to the door steps of its community at a time when they could no longer connect with their loved, more so over a meal or dinner as a result of the national lockdown regulations.
Fast forward to 2021 and South Africa, a ruthless market for small businesses, will be celebrating the re-launch of an emerging business when BMK re-opens on Heritage Day in form of a shared facility dark kitchen located at Melville’s 27 boxes, in partnership with Wakhanda Food Accelorator.
Bhut Madlisa’s Kitchen sells and delivers home-made and traditional South African cuisine that reminds you of grandma’s kitchen. “When the first hard lock down was enforced last year many people were left isolated, vulnerable and disconnected from their loved ones. Our aim was, and still is, to connect people, familes and communities through delicious and nutritious foods that simply connects them to their roots,” says business manager and founder, Tshepo Tsotsotso
